We were given this book as a gift; it sat on our bookshelf for a while, until my son started learning sight words at school. We decided to try it recently and he absolutely LOVED it! It was challenging enough to keep him focused but not too hard, so he had the confidence to keep going. He thinks it is hilarious and could not put it down - we read it all in less than a week! The drawings and story are really cute and funny - we are fans and can’t wait for the next book!!
Spectacular!!!
My kindergarten students are so drawn to these characters, the story plots, and the vocabulary. They often request this book for read aloud, and many are trying to read it it independently, which they can do based on the careful work of the authors to create decodable sentences that entertain and motivate readers. We look forward to the next book!
Both kids loving the book - my 6yo is really reading out loud for the first time and this is greatly helping his confidence! The story is fun and the illustrations are beautiful, highly recommend.
THE BEST phonics resource ever made. My daughter loves this book and so do I!!
